Turned 18 in 2000 and wasn't really into politics like I am now. I voted W in 2000. What about the rest of the poliboard?

My first election was not for president (turned 18 in 2009). So it was mostly local stuff.

I think I voted for whoever was running against Tommy Martinez for Parish President, Jeff Landry for Congress, Vitter for Senate (I had to shower afterwards), and Mert Smiley for state Rep.

I'm 30 and I'm going to vote for the first time this year

cripple for gubner

cruz or paul for president

and I'm voting tea party/republican in everything else unless there is a libertarian who really is everything I believe in and stands even a small chance of winning.

Rick Perry in 2006

First presidential vote was for John McCain but only because he picked Sarah Palin, otherwise I would have voted 3rd party.

Lets have a thread where all of us republicans discussed the republican candidates we voted for.

No idea. Don't even remember the first election I voted in, but I think it was the 94 primary for Alabama governor.

Was eligible to vote in '96 but did not because I was out of the country. Would have voted for Billy Jeff. Voted for W in 2000 despite being a liberal becuase Gore had no substance.

Didn't fully go conservative until I broke $100k in earnings and realized how much of my tax dollars were getting wasted living in NYC, and that liberal policies weren't really helping those they were designed to help.

Went libertarian after looking at statistics and got an understanding of Ron Paul's logic and decided it suited my beliefs.
