Smith talks about Episode 7 set visit

He has seen cut scenes and sequences and toured the set including being inside the full scale millennium falcon.

Kevin Smith, for all his faults, is actually a great commentator on film. It's almost bizarre that it doesn't translate to his own films.

Say what you want about Lucas, but he would never let this much get leaked out during the production of a Star Wars film.

I know Smith was a guest on set and all, but damn do I feel like the air of mystery is leaving this film by the week.

My guess is this is more of a "leak" than a leak.

I will always like Kevin Smith because he is an avid DC fan. He's the biggest Batman fan on the planet. He is a great spokesperson for us nerds.

Yes he is.

And Dogma.

He can do whatever shitty buddy cop, rom-com drivel he wants because of Dogma.

JJ Abrams is going to nail the look of the first 2 movies (ROTJ looked like shite)

I will need to be convinced in a theater that he can make it good

Just stop with the lighting affects. He even had them in MI3.

If you didn't like Clerks, Clerks II and Mallrats then you can't be helped.

At least you liked Dogma.

Derp

These aren't leaks. This is intentional to try to generate positive press. You can't convince me otherwise. After the pile of steaming shite that composed the prequel trilogy, they have to do something to try to convince people this will be worthwhile. They lost their mandate and are scrambling to get it back.

I remember him saying he loved Episode 1 too. So while I like some of his movies, his taste leaves something to be desired.

Clerks II. Basically you have two characters, Dante and Randall. Randall says something over the top and offensive and Dante reacts with a WTF response every time. That's the movie for 90 minutes.

Mall rats is pure fricking awesomeness.

So is clerks

Clerks 2 is decent. It grew on me the second time I watched it

Jay and silent bob strikes back is hilarious. Not up there with mall rats and Clerks, but still a really good comedy.
