Just feel like he deserves the thread. I'm watching Grand Budapest Hotel. I cannot believe that he went from Amadeus(one of my favorites) to Blood Monkey (one of the worst movies ever, which I enjoy solely for the "it's raining" scene). That's all.

Saw him in a movie just the other day when I was watching The Name of The Rose.

Abraham has played in a ton of crappy movies over his career. That's not a knock on him but a testament to a guy who keeps plugging away. He impresses me as a guy looking for work and not necessarily fame.

He did, "I think more of myself, than anyone else" characters really well in Amadeus & Finding Forrester.

I think he would be considered one of the all-time best if he'd made better choices.

He nailed Antonio Salieri.

One of my favorite movie scenes ever is when Salieri composes that little piece of music for Mozart's arrival at court and in one fell swoop, Mozart destroys Salieri's confidence as a major player.

Murry perfectly acted the gamut from cocky and condescending to disillusioned hack. Then ANGER!

His whole life is just being torn apart there.

One of my favorite films. I also love the final scene between them in which Antonio is taking dictation for Requiem from a dying Mozart.
