Went to the cabin, found an Eagle I thought was injured, but she was just looking for near shore fish.

Took this one last Sat at the boat launch

Shooting fireworks at midnight tonight, it's the only time it's dark enough.

Happy 4th

They shoot fireworks downtown from a barge in the harbor. It echoes around the mountains, really is pretty awesome. I go for the sounds as much as the sights

Boat boasting strippers navigates trouble
quote:

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) - A new attraction on Alaska's Kodiak Island featuring exotic dancers who entertain fishermen on a converted Bering Sea crabbing boat already has encountered trouble.

Barely open for business, "Wild Alaskan" has been briefly shut down by the Coast Guard. Someone reported a water taxi was overloaded as it transported patrons to the 120-foot vessel.

Owner Darren Byler says he is "100 percent sure" whoever notified authorities is someone who doesn't like that he has stripping dancers aboard the vessel, which opened for business June 25. He says the water taxi is allowed to carry six passengers, and four others were crew members, so there were no violations.

Byler says his business was shut down early Saturday on unrelated safety-gear violations and reopened Tuesday.

Yeah, read about that one in the paper. Sounds like a winner to me.. Fishermen will spend their money before they have a chance to get out of town.

But like I have said, I am not entirely jealous because there are chicks down here that are hot and show some tit action

Eagles always look irritated.

"WTF, I'm fishing. Find your own spot before I pluck your eyeballs out! "
