I've been separated for about a year now, but I thought I should wait until my divorce is final before dating anyone. Well, I've met a really cool girl that is also gorgeous. She keeps asking me to take her out. Opinions?

How long till divorce is final?
Think it'd technically still be adultery which could make your divorce suck potentially in an at fault state

You can talk to her and even flirt, but be upfront about your situation. I certainly wouldn't want to do any real "dating" until the ink is dry and there is absolutely zero chance of reconciling.

got to keep her on the hook till the divorce is final so you can put her on your actual hook. So yeah you better take her somewhere. Just beware the PI with a camera your ex has hour there.

This would be my big concern.
You could set up possibilities for when the ink is dry but playing around while still married, even separated, could see you get bent over on alimony, child support, etc.

I don't know shite about divorce but don't you have to be separated for a specific amount of time before you can go through the divorce?
