I think the worst case scenario is if he breaks open his first run for 30 or 40 yards. You think the hype is bad now, TD will crash from all of the heisman post.

He hasn't even played a down. You guys really jump the gun.

How is that jumping the gun? I'm pretty sure a lot of people have had a favorite player on a team who doesn't get to play much if at all. Scott was my favorite player, then Ridley, then Hilliard, then Hill. I love power backs, what can I say. I think Fournette will dominate from game one.

What if his next run goes for a 60 yard TD? See, I can do this too.

This is another ridiculous thread that obnoxiously pumps a guy up before he has even taken a snap. Then, when the guy doesn't live up to the outrageous expectations that you all have, then it is everyone's fault from the kid himself to the o-line to the coaches to Les to Javi.

I wouldn't be surprised it he goes for 150 plus rushing and about 2 TDS against Wisconsin. Dude is gonna explode on the scene. Even if he only gets 12 to 15 carries, it's what he does in those 12 or 15 carries that is the scary part for Wisconsin

Im pretty sure he hasnt done anything to scare Wisc

I am fearful. The hype an expectations are going to be tough to achieve. Like hearing about the best place to eat ever. At some point you will be disappointed- I am all in for LF7 but hope the hype and expectations aren't too much.

Why is he even worrying about a defender before he gets 5 yards past the line of scrimmage.

Line needs to tighten it up

I predict he will have less carries than we want him to, will look great in those few carries and alot of people being frustrated with Miles

This is true. And LF will gladly take his low milage in to the league hopefully in 3 years and not 2.

I predict 250 yds and 4 TDs game 1. Anything less I will reset the game and change the settings.

Why do many insist on tempering expectations for the 'next Adrian Peterson'?

LF seems to be ready for this hype fest and they'll be plenty of carries to share between all the backs.

Dude has not played a game in the SEC, maybe we should see him play before we anoint him something special.

Be forewarned, people were this excited about Russell Shepard.

Although a great high school athlete, everyone was unsure what position RS would play in college. LF7 is a true running back that is college and SEC ready. Let's remind ourselves: Fournette was the best overall recruit in the nation this past year, and possibly the best RB to enter college since Adrian Peterson.

LF will try too hard to live up to expectations and will struggle initially. He will compensate with pure physical attributes and rise to perform in a productive way, but no Heisman....not even close.

All of you who think LF isn't going to get many carries are out of your minds! Miles didn't sign one back in 2013 sending a message to LF that you are my guy. This love affair will be epic, Jefferson/Miles has nothing on this! Only scenerio that could limit BUGA's carries would be a fumble, if this kid could have skipped college you could almost bet he'd be taking one of the first snaps of NFL opener. This kids going to be something special. Any of you doubters can youtube BUGA's highlights!

His first game will go about like Kevin Faulks first game vs Texas A&M. He got some carries but wasn't featured. He looked good and showed some promise.
