When does the new iPhone typically come out?

My 5 lock button is on the fritz. Wondering if its worth paying for a fix when I'll be upgrading sometime between now and the end of the year

Mine was going to cost $275 to fix FWIW. Just use the assist button until September if it's not driving you too crazy.

You don't have to pay. Apple has a recall on this problem with a loaner phone and free repair. Just head on down to the Apple store. Got mine done in May.
If you are talking about the top button that turns the phone on and off. That's what the recall is on.
