I've wanted a yak for the past few years, but now I'm leaning toward one of these. It's a 2015 model.
I figured I'm only out $40 if I don't like it.

A 50 gallon drum with three other drums screwed to it. It floats and paddles easily works really well. The one in the pic above is a model used with a 35 gallon drum. Call me at 337-459-xxxx if interested

I like the open storage.
Those are livewells.
Check out the padded seating too.

Asking 30$ but it's negotiable. The drums were used by a crop duster and I cleaned them out and washed them.
I guess this means labor and parts to build the boat were worth $10

I would drop $40 just to support the kid. Have to keep our young inventors motivated.

Probably sitting on his ankles.

That actually looks like an awsome float trip barge that would tow nicely behind a yak. I bet you could put several coolers in that, at least enough beverages for several yakers, and not have weight or space taken up in each yak. We used to do this back home with inflatable rafts but punctures happened often.
