Taxation w/o Representation (Then) ...Representation w/o Taxation (Now)

"No taxation without representation" is a slogan originating during the 1750s and 1760s that summarized a primary grievance of the British colonists in the Thirteen Colonies, which was one of the major causes of the American Revolution. In short, many in those colonies believed that, as they were not directly represented in the distant British Parliament, any laws it passed taxing the colonists (such as the Sugar Act and the Stamp Act) were illegal under the Bill of Rights 1689, and were a denial of their rights as Englishmen.
Should we or can we deny those democratic, liberal, leftest types that "take only" from this country, the 47% pay no taxes, the right to vote or have a say in their own matters? Seems to me that one of the principles that was impetus for founding this once great country has been turned on its head and it's high time the" producers" run this show.
Do we have any options?

Oil and water argument.
And no.... without a change in the tax system, such as the fair tax, I will always feel like I am getting the shaft

I don't believe imaginary people deserve representation either.

Nobody's really talking about this slice of the pie, but Mitt Romney's "47%" who pay no federal income tax include several thousand of the highest-income households in the country.
The Tax Policy Center estimates that 4,000 households with incomes over $1 million ended up with zero federal income tax liability in 2011. Another 14,000 made between $500,000 and $1 million.

I'm retired and the feds hold out taxes every month of my check, the state doesn't though. Of course states have to balance their budgets and the feds don't. Wonder what that means?

You mock them and then pretend to be their advocate. You are so intellectually dishonest, even ignoring your feigned ignorance on how that happens.

Putting retirees aside as they earned a pass on this topic.
How is it fair that I pay taxes that support people that don't pay taxes yet our vote counts the same?
Help me understand.

There have been revolutions throughout history. They all end the same. What makes you think it'll be differently this time?
Would you really be willing to kill fathers, brothers, sisters? Would you be willing to make widows and orphans?

You need look no further than France to know not all revolutions have been violent.
