Bills Statement
quote:

"We have learned tonight that Kiko Alonso injured his knee while working out in Oregon. We do not have the details at this point, but early indications are that it may be significant."

MRI is still pending... but for the team to put out this statement... I'd going to go ahead and assume he's lost for the season

Bills WLB Kiko Alonso tore his ACL while working out and is expected to miss the season. It's a massive loss for a Bills defense that quietly ranked 10th in the league last year and was trending up. The versatile and athletic Alonso played every single snap during his standout rookie campaign, dominating in coverage and coming second in Defensive Rookie of the Year voting. He's been slapped with a 7-9 month recovery timetable and will likely be placed on injured reserve shortly. Next up at weak-side linebacker as the Bills shift to a 4-3 would be Nigel Bradham or Preston Brown.

If you listen to him, he's not the sharpest tool in the shed, but the guy can straight ball. Sad that he got injured from working out.

Bills can't catch a break. 4 straight super bowl losses should have confirmed they are cursed.

I've already decided that I'm just going to hang out at Walk-Ons every single Sunday and watch all the games.
