Help me understand the difference between "Global warming"

and "Climate change".
I was told that Climate Change is the "more accurate" description...
ok...what does that mean?
The Earth can fit inside the Sun 1 million times and because we're on a 23.5 degree axis, common sense suggests weather patterns are going to change.

It means that "global warming" leaves the door open for dipshits to say "yeah it warms up every summer durrr", so then you have to come up with new terms that hopefully people won't misunderstand.
Obviously, they are fighting a losing battle. It is a complex subject and the vast majority of people have absolutely no hope to ever understand whatever term they use, much less what's actually happening, the possible causes, and why it may be necessary to do something about it.

What do you really want to know?
Climate change means all the problems around weather caused by global warming.
None of that matters here in the land of denial. Somehow scientists are all in on the scam, but conservative Americans are the ones who are right.

The terms are "obscure & biased website".
NOAA isn't trying to hide anything but I chuckled at the first paragraph of that article. Most of y'all are guilty of exactly what you accuse when it comes to GW.
Read a little more on "natural news". I mean, where do y'all dig up these sites?

I have pondered this change since it happened. Seems to me it is a direct admission that AGW is another dubious agenda-driven political hoax.
Climate changes - if it didn't, it would always be the same. How someone can make a political movement out of such drivel is beyond my ken.
And if it is changing, it has to be getting warmer or colder. Which one is it? Since they abandoned the 'warming' moniker, it must be getting colder - and if that is the case we should be pumping more greenhouse gases into the air.
Their argument is bullshite. But they are in the job of appealing to stupid or radical idiots. Nothing they say has to be logical - only designed to tug on whatever emotion they can manipulate for the day.

Much easier to just tweak the data.
Seriously - in the scope of earth's history we are in a mere instance of time. Whatever happens on a day-to-day basis, or even year-by-year, or decade-by-decade, basis is irrelevant to the overall trends of climate, which is driven primarily by random solar variations and the physics of of our long term orbital characteristics.
In the view of our climate, we are still recovering from an ice age.
NOTE TO LIBTARDS - to recover from an ICE AGE - the climate must get WARMER. If it didn't, we'd be back in an ICE AGE!!!!
And the ultimate question - Just what IS the 'correct' temperature which we should be sacrificing our economy and freedom to approach?

"Global Warming" - if glacier ice shrinks, it's because Man has caused the Earth to warm up. If glacier ice thickens, the study is faulty.

Nobody with any critical thinking skills would argue that "global warming" as a trend, exists, the problem is the idea that somehow man has altered what are normal warming/cooling trends.
So walking back the warming to change was only natural since indeed we have known climate has changed a good bit since the paleozoic era. How to blame man for all of it is the problem our modern genius's like Al Gore and the political stooges in federally funded agencies must work out now. Lucky for them there are plenty of Obomba voters who will believe anything they are told.
