How to Miracast my laptop to my TV

Trying to mirror my Windows 8.1 laptop (wireless) to my Panasonic plasma using Miracast.
I go to Project, Add device and it sees my Panny but then asks for a PIN or password. The TV never shows a PIN.
Is my VT60 not compatible? Will I have to buy an adapter like this one LINK
Any of you messed around with this Miracast tech? Thanks in advance

Never heard of miracast, so no help here
