NOLA running of the bulls

Anyone ever do this? For those who don't know, you get up at the arse crack of dawn, go downtown and drink while the NOLA roller girls zip around on skates. At least I think that's what happens. I've never done it.
Anyway, I was thinking of checking it out this year. How is it? Fun? Stupid crowded? Is it worth checking out or should I forget it?

Sounds like a fun and interesting time. Just one of those little things that seperates cities like New Orleans from dull places like Baton Rouge, Lafayette, and Houston.

I did it two years ago and had a great time. Showed up, downed some sangria, then ran around and got my arse smacked with sand-filled inflatable bats.
