4th of July is the shite. For me, I just love getting drunk and playing lawn games while utterances of "frick al Queda" and USA chants fill the air; capped off with an impressive fireworks show.

Hanging out with the in-laws this week and I will be bringing along cornhole and setting up Polish Horseshoes (the frisbee game where you set up to poles and try to hit the beer bottle off of it, my personal favorite).

What games will the OT be playing during the holiday?

We usually set up an ice skating rink and have figure skating for the kids and ice hockey for the adults.

probably just swimming in the pool and drinking fruity island drinks. We have a bunch of rougaroux rum and some Louisiana rice vodka my SO's parents won in a raffle that we'll be using to mix up Daiquiris and Pina Coladas.

I'm combining my fireworks fun with a "lawn game", specifically my neighbor's lawn. See, about a week before New Years and July 4th, he starts his BS about how fireworks are the devil and how they should be banned from earth (oh, and that he's a "Christian". He throws that into every f'ing conversation). So, this year's 4th of July fireworks fun will include a "debris landing" game. The object will be to land as much firework debris on his lawn. Winner gets an extra beer and the knowledge that you made my 4th that much more enjoyable.

cornhole, ladders, washers, and we have a dart board in the garage. We are the lawn game champions.

Lots and lots of fireworks.

Then some more fireworks.
