Politico already took down the article

They probably had it ready to go once the ruling was made and it was probably distributed/written by DNC operatives working in conjunction with POLITICO

Yep, and there you have it, another blatant example of media bias. Shocker.

Let me count

1) the Executive Brand
2) the Senate
2) the Judicial Branch

all controlled by the ONE.

I think the rules that were in place need to be put back in place.

Guys,

This is from the NLRB vs. Noel (the case addressing recess appointments).

Don't get so eager to express your outrage that you make a fool of yourself.

Eh. The rules changed in a legal way. I have no problem with the body changing the rules as long as they do it validly.

Well it won't matter next year, but I wouldn't put it past them to try to change the rule back between November 2016 and January 2017 (assuming they (dems) retain control and the Republican candidate wins).

Au contraire.
It might not matter in terms of POTUS appointments. It will matter in terms of politics.

That is the most improbable of all possible outcomes IMO.

“More than anything, today’s Supreme Court ruling underscores the importance of the rules reform Senate Democrats enacted last November. Without that reform and with today’s ruling, a small but vocal minority would have more power than ever to block qualified nominees from getting a simple up-or-down vote on the floor,” Reid said in a statement.

1. Thanks for the correct link, Truck

2. Mark my words: when the GOP is in control again, the Dems will complain loudly and mightily about how "unfair" this rule is as the GOP uses their numerical majority to push through any nominee a GOP President wants.

Here's a ? Say the Reps retake the Senate in Nov. Does anyone see Reid putting the 60 rule vote back into effect? Can he even do that?
