I just saw this clip from Chris Wallace and Becerra...

Wallace asks: "What authority does the President have to rewrite the HC law"
Becerra: "The President can make changes in order to make sure the law works"

Holy fricking shite

Go to 2:55 to get to the exact quote... The whole interview is mind boggling

Another great quote in there is in regards to executive actions...

Wallace discusses them and Becerra says "An overwhelming percentage of the population wants these things and if Congress isn't going to give it to them, the President can"

He also said something about "this is what the people want" regarding Obama's end runs around the constitutional laws in question.

If that is true, then the members of the U.S. Congress are "what the people want" as well.

Negates that argument.

They always think they know what "the people want" and oddly enough "the people want" what they want

The days of US congressmen being highly intellectual and esteemed lawmakers has long been over. While there are still some among the ranks, they're others who have little to no understanding of basic civics or American history. Hell, we had one who thought an entire island was in danger of tipping over into the ocean if we put too many people on it. These are the people in charge of making laws!!!!!!

You don't have to be smart to be a congressman. You just have to convince enough idiots in your district(by any means necessary) that you're the most "qualified" of the bunch.

That whole segment was ridiculous. Becerra had his talking points, and wasn't going to let something as silly as a question derail him. I hate hack politicians
