Kinda what I was thinking.
First time I ever heard that guy, my ears were in love. I didn't know why I liked what I heard, but I knew I did.
Started reading about him, his use of analog equipment in the studio (not sure if he still does), and his influences, figured out he was the same age as me, and immediately knew why my ears loved it. It's what I heard growing up.
Staged or not, still cool. The kid playing acoustic didn't look "unsurprised"......
