Any legit reason I shouldn't buy this gun?

VZ sporter package deal
Rifle, bayonet, 5 mags, and a mag pouch. I've been wanting an AK for a while and this is close enough for me. None of my friends have any experience with this model though. I checked some reviews on other sites and it seems like a solid gun. This is by far the best price I've seen for it as well. TIA

That's a damn good deal.
I was looking at a VZ for $800 several years ago. Was seriously considering it too. That should tell you something.

There was a thread on here a couple of weeks ago about these.
They aren't AKs if I remember correctly and won't take Ak mags. That's all I remember about them.

VZ's are nice rifles. Century has been known to build with low quality, but has gotten better in recent years.

I've heard a lot of good things about the VZ. Just remember, it isn't an AK47 so it doesnt take AK47 mags. Great deal

I do realize it doesn't take AK mags, but it comes with 5 and AIM surplus has them in stock for $15/mag so I can get a few more.
