Seeing what he did with the vets last year imagine what he can do with these young guys in 3 or 4 years of development. Gonna be scary.

I'm really excited about our offense. Sometimes it's a lot easier to teach the young kids than the older guys. They will be soaking up all that NFL knowledge.

Great content but whoever edited that video did an awful job.

First, it looks like it was made with about a 2003 version of Microsoft PowerPoint. Second, it said the 2015 LSU offense.

great interview. that's some big praise for connor neighbors. I think we'll see a lot of involvement with the TE's and FB this year, going vertical with the passing game, and ofcourse a healthy dose of your typical power running LSU offense.

LSU is going to be scary good the next few years if Cam sticks around (I think he will.) What he did with the offense in one year was amazing.

I'm not worried about the offense this year as long as Cam is at helm. We have a veteran OL and the defense will be up to LSU standards. The Tigers are going to surprise some people this year. I can't wait to curb stomp Bama. We are way overdue.

This reminds me of 2011. In that we had a lot of potential, but little experience outside of the secondary, QB, and OL.

Coming into 2011 our interior DL was more experienced (just by a little though) than the bookends, this year it's the opposite. We are actually more experienced at LB coming in this year than we were looking into 2011. The secondary is nearly just as loaded except we don't have a known playmaker like Mathieu.

On the offensive side we are even more stout on the OL this year than we were in 2011. While we don't have a proven guy like Randle at WR, we are deeper and just as talented. Our TE is better prepared to be utilized and that is 10x better than 2011. We might not have the low mistake play that years of experience gives you at QB, but our guys are by far more talented and have better coaching. The QB spot in 2011, for the most part, was to game manage and let the running backs dominant behind a great OL. The play-action pass was the staple pass play for the 2011 team. That will be the same this year.

With the right bounces here and there, we could challenge for the title this year. No team on our schedule is far and away in a better situation. Auburn has an offense, but a weak defense. Sumlin will have the usual great offense, but a weak defense and that is better than what they put on the field last year. Bama is suspect at QB, OL, and secondary. The only guy they are sure of back there is Collins. UF is a wild guess. MSU does get better, and so does Ole Miss, but both are in Tiger Stadium this year. Wiscy loses all their experience at the worst places. Being completely new in the front 7 plays to our strength on offense, and being completely new in the passing game, plays into our strength on defense. We can put 8 and 9 in the box the majority of the game and leave our corners on an island against inexperienced 2 star WRs.

Our team reminds me of Michigan State's team last year. Jennings has about as much experience as Cook had. They were splitting time at the QB position til the fourth game (Notre Dame). They won the majority of their games on run game and a stout defense and the QB and pass game got into a groove in the second half of the season. Maybe we can be that 11-1 surprise team.
