I've put in on the north end at bayside.. There is plenty of places to fish north if you go under the bridge

I launch out of bayou tranquille at my MIL's. Be careful out in open water it gets super choppy and people don't really watch out for you. Have fun, be safe

Thanks....looking into Shell Beach Landing and as mentioned above, Bayside launch.

LINK

The link has a map with a little guid to where some good stuff might be. Seem promising. Shell beach looks to be between the good stuff. Thoughts?

Bayside. Was ok. A little too much navigation but we learned. There is another launch further up the canal we want to try next time or head to shell beach. Spent too much time paddling. Not enough fishing. Also spent to much time in canal and not enough time in coves. First time there so it was a learning experience. Any suggestions?

Thanks guys....we might be going again Thursday. Will discuss with my buddy. Do you have to know or pay Gaudet's for their landing?

Also check out the spillway side. Lots of canals there. I always caught more fish on that side, spillway side. Only time I fish the lake is when water is high in spillway

Forgive my stupidity for this question but what side is the spillway side? The west side?
