So...when do they fight Godzilla?

Or...will they be fighting each other?

Pacific Rim was a movie where the acting wasn't very good, the characters were all cliches, the plot was cheesy as shite, and the action was mindless. Yet, it kind of worked. Michael Bay should take notes.

I think the biggest reason was the camera work. You could actually "see" the robots fighting shite. In Michael Bay movies, you only get fleeting glimpses of the giant robots while he focuses more on the destruction they're causing, constantly panning around in a disorientating fashion.

Simply put, the director of Pacific Rim was much better at depicting Robots fighting on camera than Michael Bay is.

The director looks like slimmer younger GRR Martin.
