Jeff Crouere makes a very valid point in calling for Jindal to resign. He says by resigning Jindal can devote his full time efforts into running for President and the state would gain through a Dardenne governorship a "full time" governor that has been lacking for 6 years.

LINK

When I read something like that I can't help but remember that Jindal claims he has instilled the "gold standard of ethics" into Louisiana government.

What can be more unethical than taking a check for a full time job yet devoting less than your full time attention to the job??

It's like we are paying him to run for President.

Certainly in this case Palin has shown more class and concern for those that elected her.

He needs to resign because he definitely has a personal agenda and it is not running the State of Louisiana. Dude has more logged travel miles then any governor in the history of Louisiana.

Overall, I think he has done a good job but I agree that his focus isn't this state anymore.

Palin didn't resign to campaign. She resigned after the 2008 election. Jindal is the most capable governor I've seen in Louisiana in a very long time.

I would support his resignation.

This. She resigned because she couldn't handle the pressure. It's so much easier to sit back and criticize than actually work to improve things.

What do you think about his massive amount of corporate welfare? his reversal on common core? and is veto of Donahue's bill?

Did that make it out of your senate? Didn't follow it as closely as you probably did.

What in your mind is the limit Jindal should spend of taxpayer money per job he claims to add?

Probably true to an extent but the good people of Louisiana seem to appreciate one-legged people leading them.

Jindal probably has his faults but he's more competent than anyone I've seen in that office during my lifetime.

+1

And, regarding the OP... I missed Jindal's announcement that he was running for President. When did that occur?
