who is the coolest person alive?

this is a conversation topic I often will start with strangers. And honestly I don't see how it could be anything other than a musician (although you could have argued Andy Warhol when he was alive).
My suggestion is david bowie. Why david bowie?
* He was both commercially successful and influential.
* he had sex with mick jagger. what man seduces mick jagger?
* ziggy stardust
* he had a wide variety of musical styles from glam rock to hard rock to soul/funk
* He continually reinvented himself and remained relevant for decades
I humbly accept your nominations and arguments. The only arguments i have heard that were contenders were brad pitt and lou reed (when alive).

Gilmour is a good one, and Nick Mason could hook you up with some laps in a race car, but I think maybe Richards-for the stories and to probably still outparty me.

Bowie is a awesome artist. Cool as ice.
