Looking Ahead to Knockout Stage... What Side Do You Want To Be On...

If USA wins Group G they would end up on the side w/:
Brazil v. Chile
Colombia v. Uruguay
France v. Nigeria
USA v. Group H runner-up
If USA ends up as Group G runners-up they end up on side w/:
Netherlands v. Mexico
Costa Rica v. Greece
Argentina v. Switzerland
Belgium or Algeria as Group H winner v. USA
I'm not advocating playing for the draw vs. Germany... but you have to admit the top side looks quite a bit more difficult to navigate through

I'll take the Argentina side of the bracket.
I ain't scared of Belgium. They are good but if we win Argentina has some serious defensive weaknesses.

Would want to finish 2nd, Belgium im not sold on, Argentina haven't been too impressive, and who knows maybe the Dutch will lose prior to the semifinals.

I'm just a huge Hazard fan. I know Belgium has the potential to be amazing. But ya'll are right, they haven't played up to their own standards yet.

I would hate to play Algeria and possibly Nigeria back to back. It's like playing Ghana all over again and those teams scare me.

As long as we advance, I don't care.
I think advancing will give this team a huge boost and they will be more than ready to take on all comers.
We are going to face some really tough teams no matter what side we end up on.

I'd rather face Brazil or France than the Netherlands and Argentina. The Netherlands are absolutely demolishing everyone and Argentina's got some Messi magic.

You play to win the game. If we beat Germany, then I want Algeria or Russia over Belgium. Take it one game at a time and hope France loses in the round of 16 to Nigeria.
