Anybody buying tickets in the Wisconsin section?

Wisconsin Web site still have 100 level tickets for sale. $165 each. I know they are rowdy in Camp Randall, but I guess they'd be great fans to hang with.

I have interacted with Wisconsin fans. They are the worst, meanest most disrespectful fans in the big ten. I have gone to Camp Randall wearing the colors of another school and they are drunked mean fans.
Prepare to be told to "f**k off" be told that LSU f******* sucks and so on. They get drunk and they think being jerks is acceptable behavior toward visiting fans. The exact opposite of Nebraska fans. Worse than Ohio State fans.
I have been to games at Minnesota, Wisconsin, Northwestern, Michigan, and Notre Dame and Wisconsin fans are the absolute worst fans ever. They won't get in fights with you but they will say the most vile things to you and do things to impede your enjoyment of the game. Even people who don't act like jerk won't say anything or say sorry.
If you go go with a group and I don't recommend any bantering back because they will just reply with swear words and insults and filth.

OP, I'm sure Wisconsin fans are no worse than ours. And you likely won't be the sole Tiger fan in that section. Go for it.

This was my experience. Twice walking around camp randall stadium we had a fan tell us that Michigan State fricking sucks. I was with my dad and my dad's friend who are big Michigan State fans. In the stands we had people tell us that Michigan State fricking sucks to our face and the crowd of people sitting in front of us stood the whole game we were in the lower section in front of the Michigan State Bench about ten rows because they said they wanted to block us form seeing the game. They would yell stuff at us throughout the game. Michigan State won the game by the way. This was during the Bobby Williams era circa 2000 or 2001. Can't remember exactly but BW was the MSU coach.
Other Wisconsin fans in the stadium saw what was happening and didn't say anything. The Wisconsin fans cheered when a Michigan State football player suffered a compound fracture in the end zone and then almost got in a fight with another Michigan State fan who told them they were classless jerks for cheering. When the Wisconsin fans threatened to fight the guy, the MSU fan did back down but ushers game and listened to some old lady Wisconsin fan say it was the MSU fan's fault.
On our way out out of the stadium walking around camp randall to the parking place we once again had Wisconsin fans say to us that Michigan State fricking sucks.
Now we never said anything to anyone. We didn't say anything or talk smack to Wisconsin fans.
That's our story and other fans of visiting teams have had similar stories. Now that was our experience yours may differ but from our experience they our classless jerks.
Have been to the other big ten places and ND and have had never encountered such abuse.

LOL. I tell you the worst thing I ever yelled at a opposing fan during my time at LSU was "Tiger Bait". I never missed a home game from 93 to 97.

Was bar hopping in The Woodlands the Friday night before the 2012 A&M game and ran into a Wisky fan who talked all kind of shite. He also hated Miles. That's the only interaction I've had with them.

The guy spouting off about Wisconsin fans telling him that "Michigan State fricking sucks" is being over-sensitive. Had the same thing happen to me in East Lansing after MSU beat Wisconsin on a hailmary back in 2011.
That's just the nature of opposing fans visiting hostile confines. Particularly, this amplifies when the two programs have developed a very intense rivalry over the past 4, 5, 6 years. There will be plenty of nice people and dozens of rotten ones. Live with it.
Most of the 'rotten fans' you see at a game in Madison will not be making a trip to Houston. I'm guessing you'll see plenty of alumni, young and old.

Wisconsin fans have an edge to them sometimes. Students will definitely get vulgar, alumni not as much. Everyone drinks a bunch. Most are there for the party!
No reason LSU fans won't get along with us Badger fans. You must have a little thick skin sometimes though. But you should be fine. What smack can UW fans possibly talk about LSU? Academics, basketball...? You guys down talk yourselves about those all the time and should be expecting it.
Heck,ya'll should win the game and will dominate the stands.

Camp Randall did have some obstructed view seats in the first couple rows until about 2004. These seats caused many arguments with opposing and non opposing fans about standing vs sitting. Thank God they have been removed!
Sorry you had a bad time.I have never known UW or any fans to cheer for injuries.Not cool IF that happened. That may have been the game the Spartan cheerleader decked Bucky too...? TJ Duckett having a good game?

1)MSU does suck. EL was the worst road trip I ever took in the B1G. Talk about a**holes. Pretty cute girls though.
2)Are you really going to compare Minnesota, Northwestern, Notre Dame, and Michigan to a Wisconsin game? Those places have no edge or vibe to them whatsoever. The Big House compared to CR is not nearly as wild or electric or crazy.
This game is a 2 year tune up for the tailgate of the century in 2016 at Lambeau. Maybe something controversial will occur in Houston for that 2nd game to garner even more attention and drama...?
