and it was unanimous

now to shut down DWI/immigration/inspection sticker check points, no-knock searches, cops with military equipment, stingrays, taking of private property for increasing taxes, etc., and we'll have a good start

Hopefully they take on the NSA, secret courts, and bulk collection of data next...

Rex hears the news:

"Wait..everything Scalia does is wrong. But, ALL of the liberal justices agreed with Scalia, so he can't be wrong. But...everything Scalia..does...is wrong....liberals agreed....aaaaaargh"

Justice Scalia and Justice Thomas made the wrong decision.

First the No-Fly list and now this. It's been a good week for liberty

That was just district level and will have to make its way up to the USSC.

A unanimous ruling on this, seems to me pretty clear telegraphing on how the supremes view this bullshite in general.

As TA mentioned, it's hard to believe such a common sense issue took so long, but that's what happens when things have to go through the courts.

I wonder if this will have an impact on video-ing police as many cops still try to say BS along the lines of "it's interference".
