Anything other than the standard "stability" or "one side is the BAD MUSLIMS!" BS answers?

Stability in a region that provides much of the world's oil is not a BS answer. Whether that means we should intervene or not is a better question, but to pretend that conflicts in other parts of the world do not have an impact on the global economy is silly.

the Iraq situation is compounded by the situation in Syria...and Egypt...and Afghanistan...etc etc
If there is continue spillage, we arent talking about intstability in regions from country to country, we're talking about the potential for absolute full blown chaos in a much larger region

Ever think that our outside influence leads to an unnatural state of affairs that always tends to revert back to where it naturally wants to go when we pull our troops out? Maybe some of this is arbitrary state lines made many years ago that need to be redrawn.

I need a reason to believe this. What makes this probable or at least possible?

Are you at all familiar with what has been happening over the last 3-4 years in the middle east and north Africa?

The real issue now becomes what happens when Iraq is in complete turmoil, regardless of how their oil production capacity is affected. The Saudi's, Iran and Turkey have the ability to contain their borders but what spills into Kuwait and Syria that could cause problems for Israel is unknown.
Either way you can expect more pressure for the U.S. military to get involved and response from the est. D.C. political machinery.

probably only a few cents at the pump.
we cannot continue to be the world's police officer, we need to let nations sort this shite out themselves instead of trying to fix things.
let them kill each other, they will need $$ at some point and will stabilize just for the oil monies.

Yeah, it seems to be the same thing that has been going on over there for the last thousand years.

Boko Haram, DOES ANYONE THI K THEY FEAR THE USA? No because the know this pussy president takes away all options if battling terrorist, except with drones.
Now, for the next 3 years these thugs, all around the world, sre going to grow stronger, like they did when Clinton ignored their camps in Afghanistan.
Pussy Democrats equal pussified policies THAT WE WILL PAY A PRICE FOR DOWN THE ROAD.

Is it bad that I stop in threads specifically because I noticed that SEC Crazy just posted?
