I was with some of the guys in my fantasy league the other night and a debate broke out. As the commissioner of the league, I decided the only way to settle it is to get advice on td.....
So the debate is.... If Jimmy wins the a arbitration hearing and is paid as a WR... Does his position change from TE to Wr in your fantasy league?

thats kind of lame if you list him as a WR. this shouldnt even be an issue until the ruling comes out. But I always defer to what he is officially listed as and what his stats count towards, which is always TE. Just because he gets paid LIKE a WR doesnt mean he is listed as a WR.

Well... why not just make your TE and WR spots interchangeable flex spots? That way you could plug him in at the TE spot or at the WR spot.... problem solved

Matthew Berry said ESPN would still classify him as a TE. I'm guessing each league is different. If he can be listed as a TE or WR he's a top 10 pick.

I doubt the position classification will change how he's used in the offense very much. So I would probably still consider him a TE.

I know in Yahoo, you can list players as both. Tim Wright (Bucs) was listed as WR/TE.
