Cox charging for "premium" technical support

Is this a joke?

It now costs more money to have them fix their service when it goes down?

Does this mean you don't have to sit on hold for 30 minutes to get anything accomplished?



Yes. I'm mad.... I've been on hd for 17 minutes and counting as I type this.

I do agree that probably 80 percent of Cox tech support calls are from people who have no idea that the problem is their computer....the other 20 percent dont have much of a chance getting anything fixed either. Home internet service is best effort. So if it does not work and the problem truly is with the provider....simply hang up and pray. Or switch providers.
