Moving this Saturday, and the movers packed it all up today. I thought we lived simply, but I stand corrected.

i moved from a 1200 sq ft house to a 3000 sq ft house, and we managed to fill up the house. It boggles my mind where we kept all of our shite.

here is a picture to amuse you.

I recently finally got over the hump and threw a ton of shite away from my storage unit. It was tough, but it was such a good feeling once it was gone.

Every time I move I realize I could throw 90% of my shite away and never even notice.

we have a rule if you don't wear it or use it for a year, it goes to goodwill.

we have to rebuy a few things over the years (like a pressure cooker) but its rare.

I threw a bunch of crap away since we're moving overseas, but I still have a bunch of crap. I blame the women and children.

Moving on Saturday too. Have not started packing. Do not like thinking about it.

Didn't have to pack. Just separate what goes on the plane with me, what is air freight and what goes by boat.

Going to corporate engineering. Job is not well defined now, but it isn't technical.

If anything good came from Katrina for me, it was the fact I dumped all kinds of stuff I'd been keeping for whatever reason.
