I tried to watch the replay last night but CSPAN's feed kept screwing up. Here is Gowdy's questioning

How can you possibly tell our fellow citizens that there's no criminal wrong-doing if you don't even know what statutes to look at?

I just briefly posted about this exchange in another thread. Gowdy dominated and revealed this arrogant butthole for what he is and represents. It was a truly inspiring exchange of words.

I was getting over an attorney denying he knew what spoliation meant, when Gowdy shifted into 5th gear for 5 minutes.

The commish denied even knowing what the statutes required in general, much less knowing which specific statutes were in play.

We have to trust in his 'common sense' that he had no 'evidence' of any 'wrongdoing.'

Of course he had no evidence - it had been destroyed and he was not curious as to who or how or where or when it was done. Just no evidence survived - now go away and forget about it.

btw we got 24000 e-mails of her lunch dates and shopping lists - why are you not satisfied with that?

Can Gowdy handle IRS and Benghazi investigations at the same time?

Gowdy could handle Chuck Norris and Mr. T at the same time.

Gowdy is a former state and federal prosecutor who was decorated for the job he did there. It shows.

I got great satisfaction in watching the commissioner face Gowdy but I'm afraid it's an exercise in futility.

I'm fairly certain I'm in love with Trey Gowdy. Sorry Coach Saban, but it's over between us.

while this may be true in a court of law, since the law doesn't matter anymore, it does have merits in the court of public opinion. Don't underestimate that, perception can payoff. Everyone knows that they are lying, EVERYONE.

He is an awesome prosecutor and it showed. Tore him to pieces on his cross examination (and that is what it was) of the criminal statutes Koskinen referred to to make his determination thre had been no criminal wrong doing. Absolutely brilliant.

And lost on the majority of the American public.
