that's a good thing, most trades are not ones that have been talked about for weeks or beaten to death online

Did you hear any rumors about the Jrue trade before it went down?

Supposedly what you start hearing today and tomorrow are the rumors with more substance, but as has been said, a lot of the deals that go down you don't hear about in advance. Unless there are a lot of people involved (multi team deals, having to get player/agent approval of a deal, etc.), the only reason we hear about them ahead of time is if someone leaks the details hoping to change price/leverage of the negotiation. If we're talking about a deal for an asset that isn't in a bidding war, you may not hear about it until after the fact.

I feel like trading him would just frick us the same or more considering that no team would do it unless unloading a big contract of their own.

You need to move on from Anger. Acceptance is probably your next step to recovery.

We will end up with Eric Gordon until he becomes an expiring. Time to accept and move forward with our fandom.

I threw one together earlier this morning that actually makes some sense.

Gordon to the Pacers for Chris Copeland, Evan Turner and Lavoy Allen. The Pacers are past the point of no return and have few means to get over the hump. This trade lets them turn scrubs into starting/good 6th man caliber scoring and spacing.

Amen, Brother! I completed my 12 steps last week when I realized that Demps was capable of turning chicken shite into nuclear waste.

I understand we are prob stuck with Gordon and am ok with it rather than taking on someone else's horrible contract just as long as one thing..... Next year he has to come off the bench. No way we can play him over Tyreke. Might actually do his knees some good playing less minutes.

What's he done now to draw your ire?

Why don't we just fire him and blow the damn thing up?

What that satisfy some of you?

That's more of a Monty issue than a Demps issue.

And while we all hate the Gordon contract, the NBA was in charge when we traded for him and everyone knew we'd have to overpay to keep him. He just isn't half as good as we hoped he'd be. I really blame Gordon (and his knee) more than anyone else.

Demps is the one that spent $38M on redundancy. It really is a Demps issue.

It's not really redundant if EG is gone though

That term is overused with this team

You aren't going to hear about Gordon because we aren't going to be able to trade Gordon.

If you operate under that assumption, you'll be ok. And really thrilled if they can move him.
