I admit to enjoying most of Michael Bay's work and will watch this.

I have no doubt it will be entertaining, but I will consider it an amazing achievement if this film can finish above 50% on the tomato meter.

Don't care, the movie has dinosaur robots, it's bound to be entertaining. There's a large difference between actually bad films like those of Uwe Boll, and brainless fun like Bay. Big difference.

Yeah, it can only be an improvement having Marky Mark in it instead of perhaps the biggest douchebag in Hollywood.

If you think Shia LeBouf is one of the biggest douchebags in Hollywood, you are severely underestimating the amount of douche that resides in California. And that's not taking away from his douchiness one iota.

I think Shia is a much better actor than Wahlberg, although that doesn't mean anything for a film like this.

I think he would've been way better off if he hadn't been chewed up and spit out by big studios.

I didn't see Nymphomaniac, but I've preferred his indie turns of late.

You're trolling right? Shia hasn't put anything even in the same hemisphere of a performance as Wahlberg did in the Fighter or the Departed. It's not even really a question on who is the better actor.

Wahlberg was great in the Departed, no doubt. The Fighter was good in spite of him. Everyone else on screen was significantly better than he was.

Shia fricking killed it in A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints. More recently I liked him in The Company You Keep and The Necessary Death of Charlie Countryman.

I'm not saying he's great, just that I think he's better than Wahlberg, who, in my opinion, sucks.
