Cops and robbers? Or has political sensitivity shut all of this down? I used to play the shite out of some Doctor with the little girl down the street until she sued me for malpractice.

My son and his friends have just reached an age where they have stopped playing things like this but for them the big game to play was army.
I remember one Christmas when our son was about 9 or so my wife and all the other neighborhood boys' moms got together and bought the stuff so all of them had little uniforms, equipment, toy guns, the whole 9 yards to play war. They looked like a little infantry platoon. After that Christmas for months, unless we were at the ballpark, they'd be about 10 or 12 kids out in the neighborhood fighting WWIII. It was pretty awesome.

My 8 yr old sone enjoys playing sniper. SOB uses me as practice at least twice a day by sneaking up on me and shooting me in the head with his nerf gun.

See my post above. All those boys (including my son) have had Xbox and or playstations for years. They still went outside to play daily. It's up to us as the parents to make sure they strike a balance of active outside play and video game time.

My neighbor kids play army too. One kid has a full ghillie suit. He stalked me as I was mowing my grass one day. I watched his movement the entire time. You can't fool me bitch I was Army strong.

That's awesome. We had a stash of toy guns at our house so my brothers, our friends, and I would play War a lot. We also invented a capture the flag game where you had to assemble 3 hidden objects and the two "flags" to win. Each team also had a base. It was a ton of fun.
