Glacier National Park (Hiking)

I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions for hiking trails in Glacier. I've done lots of hiking out west (Teton, Arches, Canyonlands, Bryce, Zion) but I've never been to Glacier before. Every trip out west, I like to do at least a couple 5-10 mile day hikes. Just to get a little bit away from the main roads and the majority of people. If anyone here has any experience hiking in Glacier, I'd appreciate the advice.

man...just pick any decent trail with length and it will be amazing
it's been about 10 years since I've been to Glacier so I can't remember any of the specific hikes, I just know that it is one of the most beautiful places I have ever been and that I need to go back soon

I imagine ole Alaska boy (Roger?) would have some good input on that. Also, I think Tiger4Ever did something similar to this for his honeymoon years ago.

We're going next month for the first time as part of a 10-day road trip. Plannin on hiking the Highline trail. Grinnell Glacier is another top trail, but it doesn't look like it will be open in time while we're there (thanks nature )
We'll probably hike Ptarmigan trail or Cracker Lake instead, and spend another day on the GTTSR.
Check out this site for all the hikes (specific link is to the top ten).

Also check out Crypt Lake, a day hike right across the US/Canadian border in Waterton Lakes NP.

Take the ferry down waterton to goat haunt. Start there and go over stony Indian pass. You end up near chief mountain. It's a great 4 day hike
