about IRS targeting. This point was made on TV this morning by George Will. I don't have a link to his comment, but here is a link to the story:

I'd rather switch Gowdy on to this committee. I don't think there was actual lawbreaking in Benghazi. Incompetence and negligence- sure. I think there is a very good chance there was actual law-breaking with this IRS stuff (especially this laughable coverup).

I'm detecting a tone in your post that suggests there MAY be a "smidgen" of impropriety.

amirite?

My thoughts on this admin are well documented.

Dishonest and disingenuous.

Yeah, a smidgen. And by smidgen I mean full-blown criminal activity and full-blown criminal cover-up.

I'm still not sure if politicians spinning things (especially things that could not have been definitively disproven at the time) for political purposes rises to criminality.

I think they should they take a beating at the polls for their dishonesty, but I don't know if what they did rises to the level of a crime.

I believe there was an actual crime committed in the IRS targeting and the subsequent 'crashing' of computers.

And if this is allowed to be swept under the rug without a complete and thorough non partisan investigation, there is no hope.

I'm not relating this to a crime. I just want to know if you believe they deliberately lied to the public.

What dishonesty?

I'm not trying to "gotcha" or anything. I want to know your take.

Every equipment failure within an agency so poorly funded it still relies on Windows XP is not a conspiracy.

Are you surprised that a government agency is behind the times technologically?

If we're talking about Susan Rice on the talk shows right after- I don't know. I don't know that they knew it was pre-planned and deliberately told the lie about the tape. I think there was some uncertainty and the theory of a spontaneous protest emanating from the tape absolved them from some responsibility so they were more than happy to run with that explanation.

Actually, yes I am. They've got more money than God. What the hell are they doing with it?

I was thinking more along the lines of coke/stripper/porn parties in Vegas.

Fair enough. At least for the first weekend. It's the three subsequent weekends that leave me convinced otherwise.

how predictable. The problem is we don't give the government enough money! Rex really is a comic genius.
