$50 ticket. Week 12 winner. Not a bad investment. (Didn't win last year so $100 invested)

So tell me about the gun/gauge. Decent/junk? Don't know much about rifles. Probably take it to the range next weekend and shoot it.

Best part is I'm still eligible to win again.

I don't know without seeing the model of it. You can't go wrong with any of the guns on there for $50 a pop. That is a damn good raffle idea. I wish I held a ticket for it.

They're still for sale. I think they're offering discounted prices for the tickets now. Maybe it's discounted prices for prior ticket holders but still for sale to general public.

UPDATE ON GRAND LAKE GUN RAFFLE

We are now through 10 weeks of the raffle and we still have tickets available. We are going to allow previous ticket holders to purchase tickets at $25 a ticket for the remaining 40 weeks of the raffle. Call Chad Pousson at 337-764-0646 or stop by Pousson's restaurant to purchase tickets. 337-912-8892 Robert Guillory also has tickets.

Thank you

A .270 Mosssberg?

It won't be pleasing to the eyes, but it may very well shoot OK.

First thing I did was google it. I've never shot a .270 so I didn't know what the caliber was good for. Varmint gun?

.270 is one of the best deer guns around. Should do you just fine.

Very good caliber for deer. I prefer the 150 grain bullets. I started out with 130's and found that the blood trails were less than desirable.

Congrats!!!
I bet you are getting the Mossberg ATR Long.

270 is a great round for hunting most of North America.

Great deal. Very nice way to get started shooting rifles.

Enjoy it

Went to pick up the gun at McNeely's and Bruce said he didn't have the 270 in stock. Said he could order it or give me store credit. I opted for latter since I don't deer hunt anyway.

Took my AR into the store instead and ordered a bushnell T-dot site (per recommendation) and two 30 round pmags. Still pretty stoked about the win.
