I think he was quoted saying he's done and 9 years in the NFL was more than he ever dreamed he'd play.

And to think, he wasn't a bad RB when he first started at Lsu...but, was definitely more valuable in space.

dudes had an awesome football career. bluegrass miracle. win a national championship at lsu.

then play in one of the best games in football history in the return to the dome game, then winning a superbowl with the saints. As a citizen of louisiana, you cant ask for a much better football career.

i'll never forget his catch in the pats 09 monday night game where he caught the ball without anyone within 30 yards for a TD. was when the pats just said frick it

Then the following season he caught the TD pass on the first drive in the opening game and re-match against the Vikings (Monday night as recall).

Guy had a great career. Kudos.
