For its part, the Obama administration ignored warnings from senior U.S. military leaders, failing to successfully negotiate a status-of-forces agreement that would have left residual U.S. trainers and mentors there to enable Iraqi forces and to buffer them from Baghdad’s sectarian politics.
President Obama’s decision to ignore the advice of his top national security leaders to arm the Syrian rebels and bring that conflict to a speedier resolution also helped breathe new life into ISIS.
I liked the article. Liberals will to... it mentions Bush.

Excellent article.
President Obama now has his next person to blame;
Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki
It is nice never being wrong.

No, they were Al Qaeda affiliated terrorist rebel fighters, the same types our STUPID PRESIDENT armed in Libya.
If one studies the situation in depth, it looks like Obama's intended goal was a calphate state all along.
He creates unrest in Egypt and gets our long time friend Mubarak toppled, he also provides weapons that allowed Libya to be toppled, allowing the Al Qaeda affiliated Muslim Brotherhood to take over in Egypt whilst allowing insurgents to take power in Libya.
He tries to topple Syria by arming ISIS, another Al Qaeda affiliated group, but Putin said NYET BYCH.
Obama left Iraq in peril by pulling all forces out, the real reason the Iraqi president wouldn't sign a status of forces agreement according to those in the know was that he only offered to leave 3000 ttoops behind, which the Iraqi president felt was inadequate, therefore no deal was reached.
So, you leave Iraqs defensively vulnerable, you then create turmoil in Egypt, Libya and Syria by arming Al Qaeda affiliated groups in all 3 countries, leaving a vacum throught the whole middle east, and announce to the world that there will be no U.S. troops on the ground.
This would be a perfect plan for CREATING A CALPHATE STATE.
