Wife and I went to dinner last night. Radio is always set to 104.9. We were talking and then just heard screaming over the radio. A person calling in and I assume a guy on set with Finnebaum were literally yelling at each other at the top of their lungs over thr air. It was hilarious. Finnebaum didnt know what to do or say. Anyone else catch this?

I couldn't even tell. It sounded like the caller was from thr north and accusing the other host of stuff from picking on kids to being mean to overly touting the sec. It was the weirdest thing

Yeah, you just described pretty much every show.

That's why he's the Jerry Springer of College Football

I heard that part too. One guy just kept screaming youre trash over and over. Not talking firmly, screaming

I cannot believe anyone in this market listens to it. 2 hours of dead air would draw higher ratings.

I just like how they tried out the Finebaum show here in Lafayette on 1420, and people despised it so much and complained about it so much, that they pulled it and ended up getting us all 3 hours of SVP and Russillo (previously we only heard the first two because Jay Walker's show started at 2 PM).

I stopped listening to sports talk about 6 months ago. I may not know everything that goes on in sports, but oh well.

When I did though, I listened to finebaum for about 5 minutes and decided it wasnt for me.

I can't listen to it. Is just a bunch of screaming ignorant Alabama rednecks, trying to outdo each other. It really makes the state of Alabama look like what is, (a bunch of ignorant rednecks).

You wish you could be as successful as Paul Finebaum. He's a household name and has one of the best jobs ever. He is great at what he does and has fun doing it.
