Washington (CNN) -- Computer technicians have recovered about 22 million Bush administration e-mails that the Bush White House had said were missing, two watchdog groups that sued over the documents announced Monday.

The e-mail controversy dates back to the Bush administration's 2006 firing of the top federal prosecutors in nine cities. After congressional committees demanded the administration produce documents related to the firings, the White House said millions of e-mails might have been lost from its servers.

Has anyone notice that pretty much whatever Republicans get mad at Obama for - Bush did the same thing and often times more of it?

Why dat?

Hey, let's be shameless hacks and be A-OK with everything Bush does and then when the next guy is in office and does the exact same thing we'll blast him for it and be like "waaa?? You wanna blame BOOSH for everything?!?!" when our HYPOCRISY is pointed out.

Said everyone who voted for Bush.

I think comparing George W Bush to Pol Pot is a bit of a stretch. You're obviously a much bigger liberal than I'll ever be.

So you think it's ok that the IRS "lost" these emails because Bush did it?

They weren't lost. They were on backup tapes. The people suing picked 40 out of an allowed 94 days to recover.

See, they were backed up but archived incorrectly after 5 years. Maybe it was 10. Can't remember.

Unlike you, many on the other side of the aisle aren't afraid to admit an R or D is pretty meaningless.

You know the dems are in trouble when their champion, TUba their pudgy white knight, is constantly forced to use Bush as the basis of comparison.

Simple question fat boy, let's assume we can use your logic. Since it appears to be o.k. for the IRS to lose emails because Bush did, does this mean I can lose documentation when I get audited? After all, the IRS apparently loses shite all the time.

I'm beginning to like the way you guys think. No audits for me!

Not a "controversy." Those prosecutors serve at the president's pleasure and can be fired at any time.

But, most importantly, the emails were found. Will the same be said for Lerner's?

Nobody understands the cloud!

Seriously though, if your defense of Obama is Bush did it, are you claiming Obama is as bad as Bush or that Bush is as awesome as Obama?
