5. His senior year he scores 100 touchdowns in the first game, which is enough to win him the Heisman, but then gets injured and has to sit out the rest of the year. Of course, LSU still goes undefeated and wins the national championship, but it means that Fournette is granted an extra year of eligibility, so he comes back and wins the Heisman again.

Well, an honest answer is: probably none. If he runs for 1500 yds with 12 TDs, he won't get a sniff nowadays. It'll go to the favorite QB each season; he'd have to go close to 2000 yds to get real consideration. And that won't happen.

It's a shame, really: if Fournette and Dupre both excel, Fournette will be much more important to the team, and Dupre will be drafted way higher.

15 yrs ago, he'd almost certainly be on watch lists by his sophomore year, if he cracked 800 yds as a frosh.

Not unless he moves to QB or transfers to Alabama.

When is the last time LSU really promoted a Heisman contender - Charles Alexander ?? If he played at ND he would have won in 1977. LSU has bad promoting skills.
