Good question as i am looking too. I have only seen a handful of them on LA sportsman. I am looking at used boats and pulling my hair out. People think these damn 10+ year old boats and motors are made of gold i think. I would rather find a decent hull with blown motors and have something dependable for damn near the same money as some people are asking for junk.

Very true. You need to sell a kidney to get a good used boat.

Tell me about it. I have yet to find a twin engine center console with decent engines that is under 10 yrs old and less than $40k. Hell they are asking in the forties for 15yr old center consoles with two strokes that have 1000 hours on them. For 30% more i can get into a brand new 23-26' boat with twin 150 four strokes and a warranty.

Problem is I don't want to finance. The used market is stupid high.

Mexican panga. Get a new 25 foot fiberglass hull without a motor for under $5,000.

Out of the 4, only the Contender or Cape Horn would be my buying short list. The other two will beat the crap out of you in 2' seas. And yes, I fished out of all 4.

A regulator beat the hell out of you? Man I used to ride in a 23ft demo all the time and that sucker was very smooth.

Bent Marine has a 2003 Boston Whaler 240 Outrage I almost bought it but they have a few pumps to fix and one trim tab is not working. Has a 225 optimax on it with 416 hrs. We couldn't strike a deal and you have to pay sales tax on it since it was a trade in on a RV. Not sure your price range but you could get it for low to mid $30's. Told me $32k as is or $34,500 if they make the repairs (including tax). That is close to blue book but i really want twins. I would have bought it if i could have gotten it for under $30k. Coaming bolsters have some wear but the hull is in great shape and the trailer looks damn near unused. 8200 lb aluminum I-beam trailer. Came real close to buying and turned it down today matter of fact
