Any idea why Dish pulled Cox Sports from it's lineup?

The whole reason I switched from DTV to Dish is the SEC Network and Cox Sports.
I switched on 5/21 and on 6/2, they pulled Cox Sports from it's lineup.
Yeah, I'm mad.

Unless you care about the sun belt or swac, Cox sports is now completely irrelevant

But now the SEC network can make sure Bama games are aired more often than any other sec team

They pulled it off cable here in Ms. too. I called to complain and asked why, they game me a generic answer that it was all being negociated with the SEC Network as a possibility. No LSU summer re-runs as in the past. I'm not happy.

Cox Sports is worthless now. LSU events will no longer be on it, and the Pelicans are on Fox Sports New Orleans

B/c Cox Communications is a major competitor. Why would they pay Cox to broadcast their station?

The SEC Network is expensive. There will be collateral damage. I was told a while back that most systems felt that Cox sports was too expensive ( or hated that they were paying a competitor for the cynical ), but they did have a lot of LSU coverage. Now they can not cover any SEC games. Not surprising in my mind. You notice that Cox has not signed up for the SEC Network at this point.
