Anyone fished at lake Ohkissa in MS?

Planning on making a trip soon with my pawpaw, anyone been recently? Suggestions on what to fish with?

Cant give advice on what to use, but the Lake record was broken last week. Right under 13lbs.

Been several times. Big Bass but you have to fish totally different style than spillway or waterways such as that. Its 100 ft deep in some spots. Anything blue works pretty good. get you the heaviest spinnerbait, drop it off the side, let it sink all the way to the bottom and work it back up. Same as worms. If your bream fishing its the same as anywhere.

Why come to MS to fish? Y'all have damn near ruined the hunting in the state, only a matter or time before y'all ruin the fishing too. More and more outdoorsmen are starting to realize that Louisiana residents are trash and are not welcome here. Get your act together or go ruin the outdoors for some other state.

If you think Mississippi is poor now, how about a few years without Louisiana folk coming every Friday-Sunday from October 1 to Jan 31 and spending money in your pristine state? While we are at it, we'll lay off the casinos too. Wouldn't want to ruin them too.
It's hard to believe you were able to put those few sentences together in a half-arse organized statement, given the condition of the Mississippi school system. You get your learnin' in-state? I bet you fricked a cow this morning with your coffee.

Please. I doubt most of you trash even bother buying licenses. Regardless, it's not worth the headache. That's why you find more and more clubs and leases with these sweet sweet words on their advertisement "No Louisiana residents allowed!". GFY you mouth breathing, goat frickin, uneducated welfare recipient. I spent 14 years hunting private land that backs up to where Ohkissa is now. I never had a problem with another hunter from La, though I quite often had to run off one of you ugly sob's who thought since I was from La that they didnt have to respect my property line.

If you get there at or before daylight, a yellow frog does pretty good. Top water bite there can be amazing. Bottom bumping offshore humps work well as does the old roadbeds. Blue soft plastics work well. Hope this helps sir.

The hand the feeds you, the frick? I don't think you realize how fed up landowners are with Louisiana trash. They are taking less money to not lease it to you. Many camps aren't accepting members from LA because you can't follow game laws and always starting shite. They're taking out of staters, just not out of staters from LA. Sure not all are bad, but the vast majority are trash. It's not you guys fault, that's just how y'all are raised and don't know any better, but that doesn't mean you're welcome in MS anymore just because you don't know any better.
Now start flooding some other state and pay $30/acre to shoot anything that moves.
Maybe Texas will put up with you trying to sneak deer into your enclosures, but it ain't happening in MS. We've already got enough trash, don't have room for anymore.
