Pretty slick. If it was not an AT&T exclusive, I might actually have picked it up.

Well, this shows that people fawn over just about anything that is new.

Any word on battery life? Weight? Thickness? Did they talk about LTE? 802.11ac? Can I use google hangouts on it? Skype? Instagram? Gmail?

Pretty disappointed in the pricing. I was hoping that they would try to do something unique and offer it at a cheap price if you had a Prime subscription.

It seemed conspicuously absent.

They are offering a year of prime for free which brings the cost down to $100, but I can't upgrade because AT&T sucks

If you're a student with an active .edu email, you can get Prime free for 6 months.

it used to be a free year. It does say new prime customers, so I wonder if current prime members don't get the free year.

Interesting, but I think I'll let them get their feet wet before getting their phone.

Isn't that just the shipping though? I believe you have to pay the half price student price to get access to video and music.

You can on a Kindle Fire, so I would assume so.

looks pretty good. I'm still going to bet most of the reviews are going to be "good, not great". I think the Verge score is going to be 7.4
