calling all those w ugly divorces under their belt: need financial assets search

Okay. So, I have little to no experience with the ugly underbelly of family court. Im in a situation where I need one of those companies who does financial assets investigations.
Any of you can recommend someone you used on your wife to find the money she was hiding from you, or who your ex wives used when she raked you across the coals and got thorough results?

I'm a CPA, and several firms have CPA's that specialize in what's known as "forensic accounting". You'd mentioned finding a company......what you're looking for is a cpa firm that has a guy/gal that specializes in forensic accounting.

and this isnt for my own personal life. a friend is being represented by an attorney who uses a p.i. on these sorts of things that is a mutual friend of the family. She wants to use a non-biased third party for the asset search.
i remember the OT having one of those marriage bashing threads and a poster or two naming the p.i.s who did damn good jobs for their ex-wives. was hoping those names resurfaced.

Some PI firms will have ex-FBI folks on staff or part time that can help with this too.

Your friend needs a forensic accountant. It's going to be expensive but surely there is some strong sign that there are assets to be found.

sure it isn't, does this "friend" have any substantial reason to believe that there are hidden assets, or is she just being a greedy, spiteful bitch that is just trying to run up the tab, because it will more than likely be on the husband's dime?
