I bought a roku for tv(vizio) in bedroom and tv will not pick it up once it is plugged in. Just says no signal. I had apple tv in other room so I hooked it up to bedroom tv and it recognized it right away so I know it takes streaming devices. I have tried the roku on other tv's(not vizio) in my house and it works fine. Anybody had similar experiences with roku?

Sounds like a problem with the tv. Does it have another hdmi port you can try it out on? Do you have another device you can try on that tv?

I'd also try updating the roku's firmware using one of the other tvs and then try the 1st tv again.

Lastly I'd call roku support where "Villiam" will tell you to restart the roku before giving up.

My older vizio timeouts quicker than you'd expect if no signal is detected.
