Macbook battery will not stay connected to logic board.

I recently replaced my macbook battery. I'm curious if any type of adhesive material could possibly help keep the plug in place?
Has anybody else had this issue pop up?

So the battery connector isn't make contact with the board?

Probably not without screwing something up.

When I press the battery connector down it stays in place for about 5-10 minutes. Then slips out for some reason. I'm trying not to press the battery connector down aggressively.
