I was thinking a draw would be the best outcome for us but I really have no clue. What should we want to happen?

Germany by a lot.

Beat Ghana. Draw Portugal. Lose by small amount to German team with nothing to play for.

2nd on goal difference.

If Germany is our last game and they have already won the group maybe they rest a lot of their guys and we can possibly get a draw.

Red cards for Portugal, yellow cards for Germany.

If they draw and we beat Ghana, all it would take is a win over Portugal for us to advance out of the group.

Realistically Germany is in the next round.

So it's a battle between three teams so you need those other two teams to have the least points possible.

So yeah need a Germany win
